Privacy Matters 123 - Pharmacy Gold card - Home Rewards
Fraudulent free services for $1.00 RIPOFF

Shops, Products, Services

This is to inform others of a fraudulent company. I signed up for a 3-1 report and did receive it from privacymatters.com. However, upon the request, I realized I had 7 days to cancel membership and would be charged 1.00 for the trial period.

I have followed through on cancellation, yet upon signing up with them a couple of other companies have piggybacked onto the link and now are charging my card the initial 1.00 as well. Pharmacy Gold card is one and the other is Home Rewards. They sent me emails of cancellation and I needed to phone them to do so.

One allowed me to cancel with an automated service and the other said sorry for the problems with cancellation and send email to such and such. I did so and have cancelled all necessary business. However I was charged 1.00 from each companies. It is the time and frustration that I am upset about and the false pretense of companies such as this.

I have yet to see if they honor the cancellations and from this site, Rip Off report it look omnious that I won't be charged in the future. If it is the case I may just cancel my bank card to prevent such happenings. Cancelling the bank card may be more beneficial and get a new one with new numbers.

I know the time to wait is a pain but better than having 20.00 withdrawn and possibly having to pay the bank for insufficient fees, the wait for new bank card is well worth the aggravation. Thank you for reading and good luck - the internet has become a seedy money piriah. Shame on us for being such suckers but its hard to keep up when people (corporations and companies) change the rules.
