Misrepresentation, fraud, no paper contract, laptop signature only Ripoff

I opened a business in my small town and thought I had a good thing going. Unfortunately, like many small business owners, before the year was up, I knew that I was not going to make it.

Earlier that year I had planned everything for my business, right down to advertising cost and customer incentives. However, I never planned to be dealing with the remains of my business two years later.
A representative came to my business and set me up with a credit/debit card terminal. I informed him that this was my first business venture and that I was very apprehensive about owing a lot of money in the beginning, in case things did not work out. He was very positive and said I had a good idea here but that if things did not work out, I could contact him and let him know.

I DID NOT know that the contract was non-cancelable. I did not sign a piece of paper, only a lap top electronic signature pad. I never got the paper contract until I tried to cancel my lease.

Now, LFG is calling my house up to 15 times a day, with a recorded message to call them back.

I got in touch with a very pleasant person there the first time. She understood that I was misrepresented by the products company. She offered to go to LFG with a settlement, and I was willing to pay.

LFG did not agree with my offer and rejected it. Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend I was awokened by the telephone. Surprise! It was LFG calling about my "refusal to pay." I informed this not so pleasant man that I had made an offer and was rejected. He said that the company would garnish my wages.

After we exchanged words back and forth about how I am not currently working nor would I be working since I am attending school. He rudely informed me that my account would say something to the effect that I refused to settle and pay the outstanding balance.

I tried to contact the agent who sold me the machine, but he had been let go. Surprise!
