Misleading, liars, pushy

I'm shocked, but not shocked that I have found this site with several other reports about Lease Finance Group in Chicago, IL. Like so many others have reported, I started my own business (in El Paso, TX) with a business partner who was much of a con man as the sales person who sold me this Merchant machine. A machine that takes next to nothing to make!

I was lied to about canceling the lease if the business fails!

The sales agent told me, "they will let you pay like $500 to settle and you'll be done". I called Lease finance group a few months later after realizing my business partner was a con artist and a liar as well, and they would not settle at all. I was told you signed the lease you pay for it. This was back in late of 1999. I returned the machine, but lease finance group has placed a charge off on my credit report that has been there since 1999!!

My credit is perfect besides this stupid lease because I was mislead into this contract and not told the truth about the terms and when my account would be charge the monthly fee. I told her I did not want my personal account charged, but she did anyways. I quickly canceled that checking account so I would not lose any more money once I found out they would not stop charging my personal checking account.

Now, 4-7, I am tring to clear this off of my credit report. I have tried to call the telephone number on the credit report, but I am routed to a voicemail box that only allows a message, but after calling the first time the mailbox is always full. I hesitate to leave a number because I do not want to be harassed. I will try a few other telephone numbers I see here to get a settlement.
Has anyone else settled their account? If so for how much?

I will NEVER do business with this company again. (not that I would have a need to)

Anyone should take warning to not sign Anything or agree to anything with any of the sales people working for this company or another bank selling the lease because they will lie and mislead you to sign the lease then you are stuck! This company victimizes small business people who are trying to make an honest living.

The email I found, listed here in this report, is part of a lease packet for Money Tree Merchant Services.
Maybe I will email this Man Willie to see what he says.
