I have been with Gexa Energy for only a few months and from the very beginning they overcharged. They billed me a late fee for a bill that was paid early. I sent them proof from my bank that the bill was paid early and I filed a complaint with the PUC. They also have overbilled me every month. Each month my bill goes up by 1/4 just for monthly usage, not to mention all of the other fees they charge. I have a complaint filed with the PUC for that as well. Both investigations are pending, but Gexa continues to send me disconnection notices and bills for the amount under investigation. I only owe them an outstanding balance on the amount under investigation. When I call them, I am only allowed to speak with the first person I talk to. They are always incredibly rude and there is never a supervisor on duty. I have left messages for a supervisor to return my calls and they never respond. I just found out that they were fourth in complaints to the PUC and were found at fault 22% of the time. They are #1 for being at fault.
