Ripoff Dishonest Fraudulent Phone Charges

I kept receiving a call that would go to my voice mail on my cell phone. It was a computer saying I had an unpaid collect call. I finally called the number back to find out what it was about and they would not give me any information without giving them my address. The operator ended the call saying I would receive a statement in the mail in a few days. I did receive a statement saying I had a collect call back in Feb which was only a few days after I even got my cell phone so I know for a fact I did not get a collect call. On top of it, I call my cell phone company and verified that my cell phone can not accept collect calls. Also, on the invoice, my name is misspelled and they don't even list my last name. If this was legitimate, they would know this information.

I then called DTech back and told them this information and to have them remove the charges and I was hung up on by the customer services person who took my call. I did not get a name.

The bottom line is that I did not make these charges and this company says they will assess a $29 late fee if I do not pay. I have no intention of paying this and really need your help in clearing this up. Please feel free to contact me via email regarding what action to take against this company.
