Ripoff, unresponsive, insulting, accusatory, cancels order rather than service custome

On July 16 I placed an online order with Whateversports.com, receiving an initial order confirmation. A day or so later I received an email that stated my order had been processed. I discovered later all that meant was they charged my credit card!

On August 5th I followed up with an email to customer service that I had not yet received my order. The response came back three days later that "Your order has been processed. You'll be getting an email about your order." I replied immediately that I already knew it had been processed, I wanted to know where the delivery was. That was on August 8th.

After hearing nothing in response, I again emailed on August 13th requesting another status update. Their response came on the 14th from a different individual, which stated "Thank you for shopping with Whateversports.com. You were shipped a Philadelphia Eagles Leather Jacket by mistake (FedEx tracking # * delivered 7/25). I am sending FedEx to pick up the Eagles Jacket. Please have it packed and ready for FedEx to pick up Wednesday. They will have the return label. The correct jacket will be shipped to you as soon as we receive the Eagles jacket back."

I responded immediately that I had not received any package, and I don't have a jacket to return. I additionally requested that they ship my correct order immediately. This person wrote back, essentially accusing me of lying, since she "had a delivery record from Fed-Ex" - which did not require a signature and it stated they had left it on the front porch. I wrote and apologized that I had not received any package, and they should file a claim with Fed-Ex, cancel the pick-up, and to please ship my correct order immediately.

No response. Three days later, Fed-Ex shows up at my door and we have to apologize to them as we have no package to give them. Whateversports.com not only didn't reply to me, but the didn't cancel the Fed-Ex pickup and sent them on an unproductive goose chase.

On August 23rd I received an email accusing me again of lying about receiving a Phillys jacket (why lie, I'm not a phillies fan - I live in SC for pete's sake!), and that she has cancelled my order and refunded the cost of the jacket. Problem is, the jacket wasn't the only thing I ordered, and she didn't even refund all of what I paid for the jacket! But that's all the money she refunded! So no I'm out a jacket, the rest of the order, and they've still got about $50.00 of money due me.

Stay away from this scam operation!
