Ripoff, poor service, customer service people do not understand English, charge you for no services on your credit card

Opened a account in Feb. nothing but problems with them. Spent over 35 hours on the phone and sending over 40 emails to them, they never answered my e-mails. When calling you cannot understand them. They gave me a new number until the transfer was done. Well the transfer couldn't be done due to their poor service. Tried to cancel the account several times, however they just kept charging my credit card for months Approx: $220.00. Today after spending 40 mins on hold 7-6 was told they will cancel the account now. The reason is I had my credit card closed due to them charging me. Now they cannot get no money.

They will not refund any money to me claiming they provided the service - nothing was provided by them except lost money on my part. Watch out. The credit card company lets them charge you (they have your credit card number) for no service received.

Watch Out for your credit card company you have. I sent PROOF of my phone bills to the credit card company (Discover) showing who my phone company is, but they said Vontage sent invoices showing charges to me and they claim they cannot due nothing to help me. A invoice means nothing anyone can print one.

Never give your credit card information to anyone that is going to charge you on a ongoing basis, that is a free for all for them to take money from you. Vontage is CHEAP in price however there service on a scale of 1-10.10 being the worse they are a 20. Another thing their call centers are in a foreign land taking JOBS away from people in the USA.

I hope this helps out people looking to change their phone service, stay with a hard line company you know. Saving money is great but not at the cost I paid. Simple Vontage is Cheap in Price and CHEAPER in Service they have none.
