Vontage
We cancelled within the 30 days and they kept charging for two months

In May of this year I ordered the vontage system. After recieving the equipment I called to see how to turn on my service. After being on hold for almost an hour, I spoke with a women that told me that I had to have internet first and then I could turn it on.

I explained to her that I wasn't able to turn my internet on at this time because it was so expensive. She told me that if I turn of my service with them they would charge me a disconnection fee. My husband then got on the phone and told her that he wanted to cancel the service and that she is not authorized to bill my credit card any more. At that time we thought the service was canceled and we could return our box.

A few weeks later we see on our credit card statement that vontage billed us again. We called vontage again and they told us that our service was never canceled and that the fee I seen on my statement was a monthly fee that is required for the next year. Not to mention that I only talked with two people in that company that could speak english and I could understand them.

I just called them again and they told me that they couldn't give me my money back and I can't send the box back because now it has been more than thirty days. I have never went to any company before that didn't try to make the customer happy. This company has the worst customer service and I won't send any one to them. I'm not stopping here though, I will call the BBB and speak with an attorney.
