Verizon Wireless
Rude financial services supervisor refused short payment extension

Shops, Products, Services

The Verizon Wireless "financial services" department is a questionable aberration by design. The term "financial services" is very vague in interpretation but nonetheless it exists and is an element of the Verizon Wireless machine.

It was my misfortune of having to deal with a "supervisor" on this day of 06/22/06 in pertainment to my bill. I simply asked for an extension of my phone service for approximately three days until they received my payment, in three days.

This particular individual felt the need to inform me of "how things would be if I paid my bill on time", and began to engage in combative dialogue up to the point of me replacing her birth name with a more appropriate label.

I mentally allowed this derelict to place herself in a position of pseudo power over me by allowing the interaction to deteriorate into a shouting match, and I apologize for that. I am currently soliciting for her removal or reassignment to a department that is more accommodating to her lousy disposition because I am sure I am not the only person she has pulled this kind of crap on, and I am also sure this "financial services" department has been allowed to play all sorts of little games with customers like myself.

The bottom line is I am spending money, and neither she nor Verizon is doing me any favors. I have been a customer with Verizon for well over ten years, and this is the kind of garbage I am subjected to. I am pursuing other courses of action to receive the satisfaction a paying customer should experience in a situation like this. If she doesn't like her job she should find another one because she is riding a train that is about to wreck screwing with people the way she is.
