Ripoff denied my claim

I was making a claim on my peeling on my leather chair. They asked me when it happened and i said apprx 3 weeks. Since they ahve a 14 day rule they denied my claim, even though i explained to them after i thought about the actual date it was memorial day and they wouldn't budge and said claim denied. So unfair when they ask an open question and you just throw out 3 weeks.
