Warranties are WORTHLESS A real RIPOFF

If you purchased a furniture warranty from Levitz furniture company, sorry to tell you your warranty if WORTHLESS! That is because the warranty is through Stainsafe, Inc.

I just called Stainsafe, Inc of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida regarding several rips on my couch. After speaking to one of their representatives for 10 minutes, they said my claim was denied because I did not call within the required 120 hours of the time the damage occurred. I had just noticed the rips yesterday, but after 100 questions, the Stainsafe rep was able to get me to say that there was a possibility that the damage "could have" occurred last week. As soon as I said that, they jumped on the chance to deny my claim. Now understand, I noticed the problem yesterday. I'm not sure exactly when it happend, and since it could have possible happened more than 120 hours ago, the claim is denied.

Read other complaints, this is a common Stainsafe tactic. They have very fine print and are able to find all kinds of loopholes in their warranties in order to deny claims. I would not be surprised to read something like "if you bought your furniture on a rainy day, your claim can be denied". That is how ridiculous this company is.

Now the point of this is DON'T SHOP AT LEVITZ! Levitz is the company that is selling these worthless warranties. Without their business, Stainsafe will have no buyers.

Be warned, don't shop at Levitz, and don't buy warranties from Stainsafe, Inc!!
