Due to improper care and medications dog now has permanent damge for rest of life. Ripoff

I took my dog to one of their veterinary clinics, and my dog was given too high of a dosage of medications. The problem should have been resolved in one week, but after many tests that one of their vets insisted had to be done, and losing one of the reports, everything came back negative. Their vets seem to push for as many tests as they can possibly get away with, and I believe they may be getting a percentage of what they charge their customers. I know that my bill was over $2,000.00, and half of the tests weren't even necessary. Besides this the vet recommended a biopsy, which if I had agreed to my dog could have died during this procedure.

It took over 8 weeks to resolve the problem, and then a month later the same problem came back again. I took my dog to another vet, and found out about the over dosage of medications, and that the VCA vet let the problem go on for too long which irritated the stomach. Due to this my dog now has permanent damage for the rest of life, and will have this problem forever. This means special food and care, besides medications.

This company tries to buy out every veterinary practice out there, hires young vets right out of school and puts them in as administrators of their hospitals. These young vets don't have the hands on experience, nor do they always know what they are doing. Therefore, our pets suffer because of this, along with the money that is paid out to try and treat the animal.
