Vonage is a horrible ripoff run by crooks

I am very sorry that I fell for the Vonage no risk 30 day offer. I returned the equipment within the 30 days and they are still charging me for service. I included a letter and sent it certified mail and they acknoledged receipt of the equipment within the 30 days but said they did not get the letter because they are located in NJ and the equipment goes to Ohio.

I had problems from the beginning and not getting the phone service to work while I was on the internet. It had to be one or the other. I made numerious calls to customer service and could only every reach a person that barely spoke English. Their customer service center is in India and NJ... But I never was able to speak to an English speaking person.

Do a google search on Vonage and you will find that the Company president was charged by the SEC with fraud and had to pay large fines. That company is still run by crooks and should not be in business. They take the money and offer no service.
