Ripoff, fradulant billing, lied to, harrasment, threatened

Sears - City Bank ran up interest & late charges.
Never contacted us for 8 months by mail or phone.
Turned us over to NCO - a collection agency. Received a call from NCO on 1-16-06. They mearly said "You owe Sears $280.56. What do you want to do about it." No explaination! Then another 2 months later NCO called and demanded payment by giving them my checking acct. # & chk. #.

I got on the internet and got a credit report. One bad credit with Sears-City Bank. I filed a dispute with the Kansas City, MO. Office by certified letter on 1-30-06. They received it on 2-7-06.

After being harrassed by NCO by phone I called (800) 829-0923, Sears recovery. I was delt with like a criminal and not allowed to speak. They said my dispute was turned down and demanded I pay the entire balance (now being the late charges and interest). I paid the $57.51 for the purchaseat the Oxford, AL. Store on 1-25-06 as soon as I found out about this.

Our excellent credit of 55 years has now been destroyed.
This has nearly made me have a nervous breakdown with all the phone calls and the rudeness and nasty remarks made to me.
