Ripoff Online Diamond Buying Scam!

Diamond Buyers Inc represents themselves as an online diamond/jewelry buyer. I was contacted concerning a diamond ring I wanted to sell. Brian Fishel gave me an quote for the diamond over the phone. He would then send a prepaid fully insured envelope for me to send him the ring. He said he would evaluate the ring upon receipt for a final quote. If I was happy with the quote, he promised to wire me the money the next day. If I was not happy with the quote, he would return the ring fully insured.

My ring arrived at his location on 2/10/06 and was signed for by someone in the mail room. Since then, I have not heard from Mr. Fishel. I have tried to call probably several hundred times (literally), and have not been able to reach him.

I'm assuming my diamond has been stolen. Since, I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the FBI's online fraud division.
