Ripoff accused of theft and told me I couldn't afford to fight them

I was a store manager for DG for 4 years always had good reports on our store and hardly no turnover because I kept a happy crew.

Last Oct. We Had 9 nightly deposits come up missing when asked I told them they went to the bank.

After a few weeks when I ask my DM about them he would say don't worry. This Mar. The same thing happened, 5deposits missing as of then the bank said the oct. Ones had not showed.

June 23 corporate came into my store and scared the hell out of me and had me arressted for the 5 deposits. They let me know I couldn't afford to fight them. I live in a small town of 2000.

My lawyer is scared of the D. A and I can't afford a fancy attorney. Ive worked hard for 22 years in mgmt. And never had trouble.

I've complained of bad computers which transfer sales info. To lack of security and for 2 years wasn't allowed to have an asst.

Therfore always buried in paperwork. But our store always looked good. I am still going through the court process they say if I pay up and probation, But I'm going to trial.
