Wal-mart screws people over

I have worked for wal-mart for 2 years and all my evals are very good. I put in for a transfer request to SC, I called the store to make sure they had an opening in sporting goods (where I have worked for 2 yrs) I was told "as a matter affact there is an opening in sproting goods" I was then told I would have to talk to the assistant manager who was not there that day.

I called several times trying to get her on the phone, after a week maybe even 2 I got her on the phone with the dept manager of supporting goods and another manager. I had to go through an interview process as if I wasnt an employee, ok thats fine I did and all 3 people on the phone said they would love to have me at there store and couldn't wait for me to get there (based on my interview over the phone and my evals that they had recived).

All that was left was for me to talk to the store manager and for her to send my papers to the store in VA so I could leave. The day before I was supposed to move I finaly get a call saying everything was good, I called my store and they said the same thing. The store manager in SC never did talk to me! I move to SC with 2 weeks off to get settled in and I made sure the store in SC new that, I called the SC store and was told all you need to do is come in and meet with the store manager and sign your papers and everything is good.

I called and was told once again the store manager wasn't there (thats all I ever heard) the next day I drove an hour to the store instead of calling. It was then that I found out that they didn't have an opening and had no where to put me! On top of all this I was told I would lose 50 cents an hour, that was fine. Once I got to the store I was told I would LOSE MORE THEN THAT!!! And they could only give me less than part time hours. What the h*ll. I just moved 2 states away thinking my job with wal-mart was safe.

I had also talked to personel they day before I drove there and NOTHING was said about any of it, Until I show up! Then I find out they have me on the schedule even though I'm not in their system and I'm still in wal-mart VA's sytem... Now I'm without a job all because I was told the trasnfer was good and they had an opening for me and waited until the day I show up to tell me "we have no where to put you and no hours to give you" THANKS WAL-MART FOR SCREWING ME OVER
