Ripoff, changed website info after being called on sending rotten cheese without any sort of packaging. Libel and slandered us, wrote nasty emails

My friend and I ordered a big order of cheese from this website. They had a special blurb stating we will be charged extra for dry ice shipping (no problem). They also stated if there was a problem, they would email prior to sending. We got no email... We got the package a few days later.

The cheese was packed in styrofoam peanuts and nothing else. The cheese was all melted into a huge blob. GROSS!

We called the company and got the run around. Called back and was told our order should have never been shipped to our part of the country this time of year. We asked why we werent called or emailed with this and got the run around again. Then someone wrote us email saying we read the website wrong.

Well, we go look and they had changed the website! Too bad for them, we had printed out the website when we ordered. So we printed out the new version of the website and called again.

Nothing happened for a day or so and then we get one nasty email stating we have a lot of nerve trying to get free cheese. We didnt want anything free, we wanted what we had paid for! The supposed owner of this crappy company wrote us this email! He also lied saying he went to cheese convention and shared our emails and problems with all of wisconsin and they all laughed at us and the email called us 'disgusting'. (the cheese convention was back in July, we researched this)

Well, the ceo of the compnay we work for happens to be from the same town and has all the cheese as well as the info we printed out and is going to see them in person in two weeks, when he visits family. Lets see what happens with him!

The nasty email also dared us to call the better business bureau. That is our next step after here. They are not members of the bureau, so nothing will come of it, but hopefully, this report will stop someone else from being ripped off by this very unprofessional company, who does not care about customer service!!
