I spoke with a cingular agent and paid off a balance on the account. I then explained to the agent I would be going out of the state with the phone and wanted to make sure that I wouldnt get another outrageous bill.

I was informed by the agent that my account balance was cleared and that I wouldnt have any extra charges. Trusting the agent I took the phone out of the state. When I returned I checked balance on phone. Phone stated I had a balance of 588. Dollars.

I called and after being transferred many times spoke with a manager. I was then explained that I didnt have the right plan to leave the state. Manager was very apologetic at first told me the agent had misinformed me.

When I told the manager I didnt feel it was fair to pay for something that wasnt my fault she got rude with me and said I should have been more careful. She said that cingular would only cover 50% of the bill. I gave up and decided to pay the balance.

Now it is a week later and I am being charged more roaming fees on a "free roaming" plan that come out to an extra 1,219.00. No one wants to help me. I have already paid 928.00 on this account in the last month.
