Discouragement and rudeness

I called the toys r us in shirley ny concerning a job interview. The women who answered the phone said that a manager will not be in the store until thursday and continued to tell me that they had done interviews already. I felt like i was rushed off of the phone in a rude way when i continued to ask questions about the managers name ect. She is not the manager so she should not be telling me that i most likely not going to get the job. I asked about my application and should have been told call on thursday to speak with a manager instead of rushing me off of the phone and discouraging me about trying to get the job.
