AKA "Spirit Of Service" is a rip-off! Ignoring our request to communicate in English with us. Horrible customer service

We switched from AT&T to QWest (pronounce "Quest", not "Q-West"...), the company with the "Spirit of Service"

Switching was the easy part, that time they still talked in english to us. What followed was a package of documents in spanish. There was not even one single word in english in the whole package, besides QWest, if that is an english word.

Since in our family nobody speaks or reads spanish (shame on us...) we called them up (about 2 months ago) and were promised that we would receive the package in english. Nothing happened. I called them up again and was advised that I was not authorized to talk to them since I am only the husband of the person under whose name the phoneline is registered (obviously a request to receive account information in english instead of spanish jeopardizes QWest's system, what about if everybody could understand what they are sending out???)

So, a day later my wife called them up again, Mrs. "Spirit of Service" hung up on her after she asked for a supervisor ("there is no supervisor available"), 2nd attempt of the day 2 minutes later - she got through to a supervisor (how fast the availability of supervisors change in this company...) and asked her why we were receiving everything in spanish and why our requests to communicate in english with us is being ignored.instead of giving her an answer to that question, Mrs. Supervisor started to ask her questions about her employer, her social security number, her job, etc. Etc., etc. Finally she wanted phone numbers for neighbors ("for emergencies..."). After more than half an hour on the phone with the "Spirit of Service" people she gave up because she had to leave for work.

Now we are trying to communicate via emails with them and are hoping that there might be someone in that company who is aware of the fact that Arizona is part of the United States of America and that there are still some citizens who don't talk spanish...
