Ripoff took $1,800 from me didn't do anything except headaches

On April 4th I hired JK Harris to solve my problems with the IRS. I paid them upfront $875.00 and they took $90 per month out of my checking account totalling over $1,800.00.

They were supposed to do an OFFER in COMPROMISE with the IRS for me...

They sent out paperwork and many forms to sign including Power of Attorney and lists of things I needed to submit such as 3 months worth of bills, payments, tax records, receipts etc.

Two months went by... I called and called and finally someone told me I was handed off to another case worker and I would have to submit ALL paper work again from the most recent 3 months. I did this and one month went by... They said I forgot to send copies of stuff that wasn't even on the initial list... So I re-submitted everything AGAIN... 3 months went by I was told I was being handed off to another case owrker but my files would be transferred to her... One month went by... No response to my calls or emails. I got another letter saying I have another NEW case worker and this one is in a different state and I would have to re-submit everything AGAIN... With the last (recent) 3 months of receipts, forms... Etc. We'll this went on and on and on. I continued to keep paying the IRS monthly payments of $200.00 per month so they would not garnish my wages.

In the past year I have managed to pay nearly all of my taxes off to the IRS with NO HELP from JK Harris... They ignored my calls... They lost my files... They handed me off to at least 6 different caseworkers over a 2 year period. I try calling them and leaving messages with them to try to get all or Part of my money refunded.
They do not reply nor do they return phone message after message.

I filed a complaint with the Attorney General in California. I think JK Harris is still based in S. Carolina, however, who can tell at this point.
When I went to the San Diego based office to set up my initial appointment back in April. They man who took my $875 and set up my case was Ray Cordova... Tried looking into the phone book for JK Harris in San Diego and they do not even list the nimber... AND the number on his business card he gave me was the (888) number which is an office in another state. I am sooo angry at the lies and ineptness of this company I could scream... in fact I think I did scream... Any advise on how to get my money back?
