Ripoff do not even think about using this company

I was behind 4 years on tax returns and owed about 25,000 to the irs. After seeing numerous ad's in local papers here in jersey and seeing tv commercials about jk harris resolving your tax debt for pennies on the dollar. I had an appt. With a harris rep. He completed my past due tax forms and then determined that i owed 25,000. He then asked me questions about my debts and my income. He then did some adding and subtracting and told me i qualified for an offer and comprimise with the irs. His name was joe frey. He went on to say how jk harris will offer the irs about $2,500 and my tax debt would be wiped out. He then stated i needed a $500.00 deposit and pay $250.00 per month until my 3,500 fee was paid off in a year.

Well harris stalled me and the irs for a year until they had there fee, all this time doing nothing. After a year the irs filed a tax lein on me and was garnishing my pay. I notified harris and they stated they would stop the garnish. After 2 weeks it was apparent they were doing nothing. I had to call the irs myself and set up a payment plan to stop the garnishment. When i asked if jk harris had contacted them on my behalf they told me they had not!!!

To make a long story short, after about 3 months a rep. From harris called me and stated that i do not qualify for offer and compromise because i make to much money!!! When i told her that over a year ago joe frey of harris told me i qualified for the offer and compromise and took the full fee of 3,500. They take my money and state we cannot help you. I am out 3,500 to this lieing and cheating company, and i still owe the irs. What can i do? Do not even think of using this scum company!!! I noticied on the occasions i got to speak to a live person, that they have a very high turnover of employees. These people that leave must have some compassion for the people they are screwing on a daily basis.

Do not use j.K. Harris for anything!!!
