Southwestern Bell, Cingular Ripoff Combined Discount Scam, Repair Prisoner, False Advertising, Misleading Prices, Rude Customer Service

Here is our frustrating history with SBC/Cingular for a year now.

Regarding Cingular Mobile First:
1) Last year we signed a 2 yr. Contract for Cingular service, MAINLY because of the combined 20% discount billing with SBC and the promise that the coverage would soon be in our home area. At that time via phone calls to SBC and Cingular I made sure by going to the Cincular store instead of ordering online I would still qualify for combined billing and was told yes.
2) I was concerned about our phone getting dated in 2 years, but was told that by signing a 2 yr. Contract and getting new phone specials, we would qualify again in a year for a new phone special.
3) I was also told our home in Cedar Hill was getting a new tower and the service will extend to our home.
