On nov. 12th. One my trucks was getting fuel at exit 2o in tn. On i-75 at pilot notice a oil leak from front of engine. We called some repair shops the nearest one was (4 mile away) north &south
we drove the truck to them (it was fri)@ 12 pm they told us it will take a few hr to was the oil leak, by the lokks of it the fan hub broke and rub a hole thru front cover... It will be till monday to call arownd for prices. I sent the driver home with a bus.

To make a long story short we could not find a used front cover, and told me that they can get a new one, but now the truck needs a alternator and a belt and price for all of that @ $3,000.00 i let them purchase the alternator and belt, i had senta separete truck to tn. With a friend of mine thats a mechanic to see what had happened to truck. When he arrived at nothe and south, the front cover was busted in 20 pices, so no-one can tell whath happened. Exept on volvo engine it has a noise sheld and it stamped metal sheet and it showed no sihn of beeng rubed againts. With all that i had no choice, they told me that the bill was going to be 15hr x75$ and to take it out i had to pay them 10 hr
my decision was, to purchase my-self the front cover, front sheeld and fan hub from local volvo dealer at $1,530.00 and sent -it to them. I did alow the to put on the alternator since they told me they have purchase it from volvo. It took them onother week to get it done, i ask them to get the oil changed and filters due to that front cover beeing open.

On dec. 20 i called them to pay for truck, next mornig my drivers was going t arrived and pic it up.
They have refused to take credit card (witch is ok some places dont take credit cards. It was a little strange that charlie the owner was telling me ower the phone that he does not belive in credit cards, like it a religion?) needles to say the invoice was way overcharged total 2,774.51 (the alternator was a cheap$100.00 car alternator) original volvo is 2 ice as big and i could have gat it at volvo dealer for 265.00 my misstake. The worth is yet to come, i had paid them in full with efs.

When my drivers arrived to pick it up the truck would not start at all. After numerous try's they ask the mechanic to see what they can do (north and south) looked at it and brouth some fuel, the gage it was showing less than 35gal. When we droped the truck off the unit just pumped 142. Oo gallons 4 4miles away and with 100 gallon tank's it was full, they stole the fuel, needless to say the truck did not started, i called and one of the mechanic told me they cant do nothing till next day, maybe the fuel filter or fuel pump, and now i have onother problem one of the brake chaimber is leaking air, that means i have to ask them to change-it if that truck ever wants to leave from there. I told them not to touch the truck any more, at all. I rented a car, got my tools and my mechanich, and drove over 600 miles to cleveland, tn, arrived at truck @ 9pm on saturday dec. 22. They placed the spare key in contact and turned the lights on wen i told them i was on the way, so when i got there needless to say (batteries was dead, i let them charge for 4 hr anh keept trying to get it going with no luck, next morning found the problem on volvo fuel pump it is bolted thuru the front cover they did not put 2 bolts on, so when we tryed to prime the fuel pump all the fuel leaked right thru the buttom of it.

Called the owner of north and south, told him wath had happend, he sent o mechanich to shop that tratend to have us towed of the proprety, that is the way they treath their costumers, we found one bolt on the engine, and found some orond the shop, put them back and truck fired right up.
Please lisen to my story, i'm a father, a brother and a son that bellives in god! If i can help that one person does not go thru this, i have done something right!
