Volvo Trucks North America
Forced into Bankruptcy by Volvo Trucks

Miscellaneous

In I purchased a new 2003 Volvo truck. From “Day ONE” the suspension was faulty causing a rough ride. After numerous attempts by the dealer to correct the problem and failing to do so, I requested that Volvo send a Corporate Technical Advisor to resolve this. After 2 plus years of dealing with their “trial and error attempts”, a company Rep.informed me that Volvo refused to do any further suspension repairs, regardless of the remaining warranty on the truck! When I questioned whether or not they would then replace this defective truck, they refused. The end result; Bankruptcy=$250,000 Est. Total loss=$550,000
