Warning! Best Buys extended service plans a rip off. The plans are touted by all sales staff as parts and labor plans. The pamphlet states they are parts and labor as well.
In fact, as I discovered the major appliances plans DO NOT cover labor on the very items that people buy the plans to cover. Get this! On fridges the compressor is parts only. On washers the drive moter and transmission is parts only.
In short, the sales staff are lying through their teeth when they sell you these plans. If you have to pay labor on a compressor or drive motor or transmision you just about might as well buy a new appliance. Except you will need an extra $100.00 because of the money Best buy bilked you out of when they deliberately misrepresented their service plan.
