UN-Affordable Service on Appliances - Price gouging on parts and labor for repairs to washer and drye

Affordable Service Appliances came out to repair my LG washer and dryer, but the service turned out to be not so affordable. The repairs required a new thermostat for the dryer and a water valve for the washer. I was told the parts costs over $200 and with the labor and tax the total was $579.54. The repairs took less than 1 hour. I later verified the costs of the parts on the LG manufacturer's website and found the two parts sell for $23.15. That means I paid over $500 for the 1 hour of labor - what a rip-off on parts and labor!

I contacted the company to complain, but got no resolution - basically told too bad those are our prices.
