We had a built in microwave that ceased to operate. Per our home warranty with AMS, a Sears technician arrived on 12/03. He informed us that a part would have to be ordered and that if it was available it would arrive by 12/11. The part did not arrive and of course we had to call them and be placed on hold for 20-30 minutes.
The first person told my wife that the part was still on order. I called later and found out that she had just been lied to in order to get her off the phone. The part no longer existed and we would receive a new microwave installation. We were told to call a different number.
When we called the new number after waiting on hold for another 30 minutes, the person at AMS asked my wife to measure the height and width and the interior depth which my wife did. We were offered money or a Sears replacement with installation.
