Ripoff credit card fraud scam

The peoples rebate association is a total fraud. A rep called me and told me that i was to get a credit card for $2500 and that it was unsecured. She then explained that all I would have to do is send them $299 deducted from my bank account and the card would be in the mail in 10-15 days. What a fool I was.

After a little research I found that they were not a bank and that the activity they were doing was fradulent. I then called the peoples rebate association back and told them not to deduct any thing from my account and they said that it was nothing that they could do about it because I was a day too late and they took my money.

They wouldn't even let me talk to a manager. They said that the customer service takes all calls. I asked for the owner and anybody else I could talk to and they told me that they have a floor manager but he doesn't talk on the phone. Now what part of the game is that!

I called back and one of the reps hung up on me. The transaction was on october 22nd and now its november 6th and I still don't have anything to show.

What a rip off. I'm fighting back. I reported them to the bbb, consumer prection, the federal trade commision, and the attorney general consumer fraud bureau. Hopfully something is done soon so this do not happen to any one else.
