Failed to show for appointment - Replacement Windows

I made an appointment with RBA Windows while meeting with their representatives at the Philadelphia Home Show (March). Our appointment was set for April 22, so that RBA could visit us at home and provide an estimate for installation costs and start dates, etc.

When no one from RBA showed, I called their King of Prussia office. The representative confirmed our appointment and said that no one was sent to meet with us because we didn't answer our phone the day before, when RBA called to confirm the appointment. I asked why they didn't leave a message for us (we have an answering machine), but the representative didn't know why. I repeatedly asked why RBA would not consider leaving a phone message when prompted, and again the representative didn't know why.

I am upset because my wife and I spent ~30 minutes with the sales representatives for RBA at the Philadelphia Home Show, and I spoke with two representatives on-site. I also confirmed by telephone at that time that a representative would come to our house on April 22. I received a confirmatory card from "Ken A" after that phone call on-site.

I cannot understand how RBA representatives would not leave a phone message when calling to confirm an appointment, or why they would not call our home on the day of the appointment, as we would be expected to be at home waiting...
