Denied Donation for Golf Tournament Scholarship Raffle Gifts

Real Estate

I have been a shopper at Home Depot for the past 10 to 15 years with a commercial account in good standing. I have spent over $100,000 in this store and have always paid my bill.

I went to them last week to see if they could make a donation to my brother's golf tournament, which is held yearly. The donation was to be gifts bought at Home Depot for a raffle that would raise money for a scholarship to be given to two local students going on to college. The answer received was denied! Is this how the big stores deal with a customer who has been faithful to them for years?
