Kolbalt Tools - kobalt tools

I purchased a Kolbalt air compressor about one year ago. It will no longer pump air. The display works but nothing else. I asked about the Kobalt guarantee when I purchased this item and was assured by the Lowes employee that it was covered under the Kobalt replacement guarantee. I took the compressor into the Lowes store I purchased it from and they told me that they could not do anything about my issue that I needed to contact a service company. I was willing to give the Kobalt name a try but have had issues with many of the items I have purchased and have had nothing but a difficult time when taking these things to the store. I am very unsatisfied with the Kobalt tools and thier guarantee. I feel this compressor, which still looks like brand new, should be replaced or serviced at no charge to me.
