Next day delivery - Delivery

We bought a washer and dryer on Monday, we were told then that they coudn't deliver them till Saturday??? We talked to the manager, he said that they would deliver them on Tuesday. Well today is Tuesday and Lowes called and said that the units that we bought had a problem. When we purchased these there wasn't a problem. I believe that the reason is that they cannot deliver today is because they are over booked. The salesman had told us that they only had one truck running??? As big of a corporation that Lowes is one would think that they could overcome this problem. So why do they advertise next day delivery, when they know that they can't deliver. Now do we sit and wait or what. Time is money. They have two trucks in the parking lot for rent? Why not use one or two of these to catch up on delivery??? I'll bet Jimmie Johnson wouldn't have to wait.
