Mortgage modification

I find it difficult to rate a program that apparentley does not exist but, with the near devastation of our lives I feel it is my duty to try. We were approached, courted, by Chase to sign up for thier mortgage modification program. Like so many, we were suddenly living with less than half of our former income. We were told to skip a month payment then begin paying $755 instead of our $1045. I am certain everyone knows the rest... A year of faxing documents weekly, always needing 'one more' paper. We were approved, denied, approved then told we had been denied again three months earlier and the kind employee on the phone just could not understand why we had not been notified. All the while being told to 'just keep making the trial payment' then shortly after, were told 'that will be $5000 dollars immediatley'. I don't know if Chase comes across many medium smart people like me but, I began making my former payments whatever over I could and did without EVERYTHING! Do you know what? I have not gotten a 'wow great job, you are catching up'! No, in fact they want my house now more than ever! Well NYAH, NYAH, NYAH. I am so sorry I did not do more research before I bought into thier dance. I have found NO-ONE who has actually gotten a modification. I have found many with my story though. Many, many more, still waiting for that approval that will never come, but thier forclosure will. Your salvation is not with CHASE. Good luck to you all, Kinnat
