Inadaquate accounting procedures

In October I requested a payoff from Green Tree on our mortgage. We have never been late. They received my payment on Oct. 11. They faxed a payoff to my bank which was regions bank. The payoff amt. Was good until Nov. 5. The received my payoff on Oct. 23 from regions bank, I received a payment notice for Oct. So I called them, they said the payment was short cuz after the payoff they paid the property tax. Their figures don't even match their on statement as of this date Dec. 4 I am still waiting on them to add the account up properly, they are dumber than dirt at that company. I am going to complain to consumer protection and IRS. I think they should be audited for their accounting practices and you should complain to IRS also. Maybe we should start a class action suite against them.
