My new hydraulic lifter has been performed flawlessly since the day I installed it. My hot tub is rather large in size and as such the cover we needed to be custom manufactured to fit. This being said, the opening and closing process has never been enjoyable. Aches and pains were a frequent part of our hot tub sessions, so I decided to end this by getting a lifter. After all, hot tubs are meant for relaxation and comfort not pain. The Cover Guy has made an excellent product, and I will definitely buy from them in the future.

Damaged spa cover shipped (was damaged with a forklift!), cover guy told me to contact shipping company, filed claim and shipping company will only cover 1/3 of cost... Now cover guy has no response and I am left with useless cover and $320 in the hole!
