Porting my numbe

I have my sanyo zio since friday and i was told it would take a little bit longer to get my phone number ported over. I recieved a text yestraday at 5 till 1pm that in 10 minutes i need to press *288 and i did and now all i get is a busy signal i can not make calls out or recieve calls. And it says that my account can not be validated
