Phone Number Port Failed and Account Cannot Be Validated After Text

I have my Sanyo Zio since Friday and I was told it would take a little bit longer to get my phone number ported over. I received a text yesterday at 5 till 1pm that in 10 minutes I need to press *288 and I did and now all I get is a busy signal I can not make calls out or receive calls. And it says that my account can not be validated
