Fact:
1) I purchased a new Sprint Samsung Epic telephone 4 months ago and paid full price; with accessories totaling over $600

2) Sprint Store technicians after testing indicated that the telephone did not pass diagnostics, and was thus, defective. I was informed, for the first time, that Sprint only replaces handsets with REFURBS, after
30 days. I did not spend over $600 for a refurb. I purchased a new unit.
3) I contacted Sprint at their HQ and was referred to the " executive complaint escalation department who informed me that they were there to enforce policy of Sprint and would not consider replacing the defective handset with a new handset.
4) In case you are considering switching to Sprint, please consider the following:
a) I have been a Sprint customer for over 15 years and have the most expensive plan that Sprint offers;
b) I completed a purchase of a Sprint modem and fulfilled my contract with Sprint that ended in March.

C) Prior to this handset, a Sprint technician while instructing me how to backup over 500 contacts, caused the entire database to disappear! His response was that it should not have happened!

One can imagine the treatment for a new customer. Sprint is an immoral company and has earned the high rate of customers who drop them. My phone is currently still defective.
