SOFTWARE WILL NOT WORK - REFUND DENIED - cricket unlimited wirless service

From day one of purchasing a broadband card and service it didn't work right and all the store we purchased it from would do was tell us to call technical support or go to a corporate store. All technical support would tell us was that they had done everything the could and that we needed to take it back to the store we got it from. The store we got it from wouldn't do anything and said we had to take it to the corporate store. The corporate store said they couldn't do anything because none of the 3 calls we had made to tech support had been documented on our account and that we had to return the device to the store it was purhased from. All we got was the run around.

On the day the device and service was purchased a call was made to tech support (4/9/10). We did everything tech support said to do. They told us to take it back to the store it was purchased from for a replacement device. The store was closed on Sunday, so we went on Monday. They told us to go the corporate store for an exchange so we rushed there before they closed only to be told that they could not do anything that we had to go to the store the device was purchased from. They also suggested we call tech support again because no notes from earlier calls were on the account. We called tech support that evening and requested notes to be put on the file and also went through more troubleshooting.

We went back to the store it was purchased from and was again told they could not help us and told us that we had to go to the corp store, so we did again only to be told again we had to go back to the other store. The clerk at the corp store put notes on the account for the other store.

So again we go to the other store but nothing was to be done. They would not refund the money for the device nor would they cancel the account. They were useless. The owner of the store said that he had to have corp approval to take back the modem.

We did cancel the service with the 800# after a week of nothing but issues and nothing being resolved. Now we are out the activaion fee and the $111 we paid for the modem.

Calls to the 800# got us nowhere. The modem wasn't working but they didn't care or want to fix it all that seemed to be wanted was our money.

Do the right thing and refund the money for the modem and the activation or at least credit it to the cricket phone we still have active. At least for now we still have it active, but with service like this we should really cancel it as well.

By the way, we went to Clear Wreless and the service is great and we have no issues with the modem at all.
