Tech Support Issue

I am having issues with cricket wireless about unwanted messages i am receiving on my phone.
I have called their tech support people and they just tell me to take my phone to the cricket store to fix this problem, and the people at their store that tell me its a tech support problem.
These brew msg app messages are annoying as well as disturb other features of my phone. I feel like they are just giving me the runaround!!!
