Unfair business transaction

Dear Sir: I went into this franchise and asked for a gift card that I assumedwould be good at any Verizon Store nationwide since they are a nationwide communication company.instead, I was sold a giftcertificate that ended up being redeemable at only a few select stores in this area. It was supposed to be a gift card for someone who lived a thousand miles away. Do you think that was right? I tried to resolve the issue by asking for my money back since it was basically useless for me at that point. The gift certificate amounted to $40.00 made out to Trevor Franklin. "No cash refund" was the reply. And, of course "no cash refund" was printed on the gift certificate too. I don't think that was right or fair. Personally it is cut throat, and not a good representation of Verizon's reputation. I am going to tell as many people as I can to stay clear of Verizon and anything they have to offer.
