OUTRAGOUS prices and mums the word on contract information

I got taxes back last year and went in and bought a new phone. I had decided to get a smart phone. I was NOT informed that I was 're-upping' my part of a shared contract for another two years. The entire contract costs almost $130 a month. The contract has only one smart phone on it, I only have 200MB data package, I can't send or receive multimedia messaging.
The other phone has a basic data package for multimedia and a small amount of web browsing. Our plan jumped from about $60-70 to almost double what it was. We weren't informed on me resigning my part of the contract until a year later when we were going to tell them where to stick it...
I wouldn't even recommend this company to someone I hate with a burning passion...
