Woodinville store, manager Glen Allen Initiated two-year contract with no verbal exchange they were about to do that

Today, I tried to cancel my wireless card (for my laptop) and was informed I had recently signed a two-year contract for that service. I had previously had a contract on an older wireless card, which had run its course. All I wanted was to upgrade the wireless card itself, as I had bought a new computer that would not support the old card format. I went to the store and purchased the new card. There was no words spoken about signing a new contract, just picked up the card and signed for it. Apparently, they put the contract in the wording, but there was NO mention of it by the salesman.
I do not believe this company should be able to use what they must consider "tacit approval" to fool someone into signing up for a new contract. The salesman should clearly state that a new contract is part of the package. My original contract was fulfilled, and I think I was misled into signing up again.
