Upon my visit to Metro PCS Authorized Dealer at Main St. And Garden Ridge in Flower Mound, TX, I received an answer that was most disturbing.

1 month after factory warranty expired my phone quit ringing after having the phone for 13 months. I presented the phone to Melony, the Hispanic female behind the desk (btw she never got out from behind the desk to assist and never made eye contact). I asked her to dial my number so she could hear my delemna with the phone, I asked her to put the phone to her ear to hear if the phone went directly to vm. She didn't, I asked her again, with no response, I being disgruntled from the lack of customer service, asked her again to put the phone to her ear to hear if it went to vm. Her response was, "Thats all you had to say"! She fiddled with the computer, then informed me that she restored the original factory settings and that obvisously didn't work. She offered me 3 solutions. 1 she could reset the entire phone that would erase all text messages (That I needed), 2 I could take the phone to corporate store so they could tell what was wrong with phone (with no guarantees), or I could buy a new phone. Completely frustrated with these options, I asked again about the warantee, she said there was "nothing I can do, I just work here" and sent me on my way.
