APPLE I-phone upgrade scam - apple i phone 4 promotion

I went in to talk to a sprint business in the joliet mall in plainfield, illinois, the manager told me that I can try the apple I phone 4 for free for 14 days and if not satifsfied can return it before the 14 days. My wife picked up the phone when they called that the phones have arrived, and they activated it, but they never mention that if you don't want activation charge on your bill then you must return within 3 days or there will be a restocking fee for 70 dollars.in all, there was 170 dollars charged to our account when we were not satisfied with the phone. We returned it the same saturday which was 4 days later. However, no one had mentioned of all the hidden fees, and sprint customer service will not waive the acticvation fee nor the 3rd party retailer. Be careful, just because it says sprint, not necessarily they are responsible, because in small print on the store there put down who the third party owner is. It is better to find out where the corporate store is and deal with them. Anyhow, we ended up paying for the activation fee with no upgrades because sprint nor the thirdparty would waive the fee for activation. It is a shame that they don't explain or say a word. They say that we gave the signed document and you are supposed to read all the little fine print. Are they not their to go over that paperwork especially if there are hidden costs. I would have returned the phone whithin 3 days if I knew and why say 14 day freee trial and return it at no cost if there is a restocking fee and activation cost. THis is false advertising to make a quick buck from a consumer. Very disappointed. NOt going to renew the contract.
