Ecieved a email from tony about in need of a personal assistant with pay about $300 weekly just to pick up mail and other things. He said he was in australia and most of the material would be art work and material. Well on 10-22 recieved a fedex package with first assigment. Enclosed was a very detailed letter, instructions and a cashiers check for $3,722.. Was told to deposit it in my bank and take out $500 for my services and send the rest to two different addresses in the phillipines... The sad part is that he used the names of organization that help people to fuel his greed... (habitat for humanity and red cross)... I am a pastor and run a food pantry and it is sad to know that we live in a society of such people... PLEAS BE AWARE! Right away i recongnized the fraud did my research and never tried to deposit or cash the fake check... Something else to note. The names on the email, the fedex envelope, the letter with instructions and the fake cashiers check was all different names! I called the name and number on fedex envelope and of course she didn't know anything but said that was her 4th call about this cituation... God gave us all common sense...
