UKCorporator Phony

UkCorporator is a real company (I think) that hires out to people online. Right after this company was sending out hiring emails for students at my university, another guy came in with the exact same pitch through emails. The first was Professor Hackney and his email address was ukcorporator@europe.com. This may have been legit or not, I don't know.
The second guy came around and he was posing as the American version of UK Corporator. They ask for your address and send you a fedex envelope with a check in it. I have a few names with which I was hit.
One was Andy Collins who was the gmail initiator. Andy4mecollins@gmail.com. The next was pen names that s/he used. Andy Collins, Frank Adams.
I then received my check from Lindsay Vargas: (Personal Info Removed). Address: (Personal Info Removed).
I was required to deposit the check and wire $250 via Western Union to Dylan Thomas Address: (Personal Info Removed)

Now I don't know if the person who sent me the email was trying to scam Dylan, knowing his fake check wouldn't be accepted by the government or what, so he can't justifiable say is involved. I don't know if names used are real or not, but if I were a cop, I'd start there.
