Paul Smith
Scam ripoff

Education & Science

Mr. Smith wanted to purchase beagle puppies I had for sale listed through the new press. He contacted me by email asking for my mailing address to send the payment which I gave him my PO box I didnt want him to know where I lived well her email me back and told me he couldnt mail it to my PO box but ups wouldnt send it there.

This went on for about a month. I didnt feel comfortable about the whole thing I would ask where the dog was going and he would not say I have been saleing beagles for 4 year and everyone told me where they were from. Anyways I was gone on vacation for a week and when I was gone the payment was received at my PO Box.

When I open the letter there was no return address on the envelop and then letter was stamped with Royal Mail London. After opening the letter there was a cashiers check for $3000.00 which didnt make sense.

Once I returned to work the next day I check my email mail and there was a email from mar smith about what to do when the payment was received it send A) Take Cashier Check to the back and tell them you want to deposit it in to your personal account then they will credit your account and give you the cash. B) go to western union and send the Payment for the pick up for the dog and the rest of the money is yours (the dog was $350) which means the transfer was $2,650.00, I thought about everything none of the name matched then purchaser of the casher check was some Rudy Campbell which I dont know who that was plus the cashiers check was from Bank of America San Francisco, CA which didnt make sense because the envelop came from London also the there was another name of Steven E Murilllo where I was so post to send the transfer fee too in San Francisco Ca.

I told the Check to the bank because I wasnt going to deposit it into my personal account because cashier check are CASH well come to find out the cashier check was a fake which I believed it was. So please be careful when you are detailing with people on the internet
