I sat down with Mike Ross and Gilbert Blevins of R&B Homebuilders and signed an offer to purchase real estate (new home) on February 29. The agreed price for the home was $224,800 and $73,000 for the lot for a total of $297,800. I informed R&B I would be having a swimming pool built for $25,000 and several upgrades done to the home. For eight months I was in constant contact with these homebuilders always getting an updated final sales price. On September 29, I received my last update after all upgrades were made and my final sales price was $355,000.

On Thursday October 07, I made my escrow deposit so that escrow would close on Friday October 08. One hour after I made my escrow deposit R&B Homebuilders submitted a final price amendment to the title company raising the price by $10,000. Being stuck in an apartment for eight months I had no other choice than to agree to this price increase. Mike Ross and Gilbert Blevins of R&B Homebuilders are greedy lying coniving unethical people who will pretend to be your friend and work with you on the building of your home right up until the end then they will scam you for more money.
